This almost goes hand in hand with the point made above but whenever goals are not met, people get discouraged. How do most people avoid feeling discouraged again? Quitting. Recognize that this is what normally happens so that way when you catch yourself doing this, you can pick yourself up and try again. Every failure is a learning experience. Most people may have heard that phrase before and get sick of hearing it but it is true and you will start to benefit from it.
